Cosmic Church

In this photograph, a lone church sits on the praire of Colorado. Behind it towers the Milkyway with Comet C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan–ATLAS passing by on October 23, 2024. This is my first blended composition; the foreground and the stars are two separate exposures, blended together.

Acquisition Details:

Foreground: Single 175 second exposure, shot at 24mm; f/2.8, ISO 640

Background: Single 175 second exposure, shot at 24mm; f/2.8, ISO 64

Edited in Adobe Bridge and Photoshop. Blended the two images together after completing the edits.
