Statistically, you have roughly a 1 in 10,000 chance to see a total solar eclipse above your house during your lifetime. For the people who live in the small town of Evening Shade, Arkansas, they became a lucky bunch on the sunny afternoon of April 8, 2024.

To honor this rare opportunity and the transforming experience of witnessing a total solar eclipse, we have photographed and created this beautiful composite of the eclipse at the Burt Reynolds Gymnasium in the small town of Evening Shade, Arkansas.

This composition showcases the different phases of the moon passing directly in front of the sun, as well as the appearance of the sun when the moon completely covers it. We offer two options for the center of the composite: the outer corona (atmosphere of the sun), or the “diamond ring” (the very moment the first rays of the sun beam past the moon as it moves away).

Please read below for detailed product information. This section is organized by print customization options, print specifications, store policies, and support information.

Print Customization:

We try to provide you the options to customize the print to what you like best. Since we are Christian company, we want to glorify God by emphasizing the character and majesty of our Triune God. Therefore, we provide you the following options for customization:

  • Print size: we offer standard sizes as mentioned above. The included dimensions show the L x W of the print in inches. For any prints that protrude from the wall, you will see those dimensions below.

  • Inscription: We offer the option to get the print showcasing the natural beauty of the night sky, the location and date of the eclipse, or a Bible verse to remind you of the Author and Creator of all things. We do not allow any customized inscriptions at this time.

  • Totality Photo: We love both the composites featuring the Stellar Corona and the Diamond Ring. Because of this, we provide you the option to choose your preference!

  • Print Materials: this refers to the following section where you can choose if you want a paper print you frame yourself, a pre-framed print, a canvas print, or a metal print.

Paper Prints:

All prints will either be printed on LexJet’s eSatin Paper (300g) or Moab Slickrock Metallic Pearl Paper (260g). Smaller paper prints use the higher quality Pearl paper, but the larger prints use the eSatin paper to save on the cost of the print. This is the most cost-effective option, however, you will have to purchase your own frame to complete this product. All sizes are standard so it should not be difficult for you to find a frame of your liking.

Framed Prints:

All prints will come framed with a Square Gloss Black frame. The framed prints will either be printed on LexJet’s eSatin Paper (300g) or Moab Slickrock Metallic Pearl Paper (260g). Smaller paper prints use the higher quality Pearl paper, but the larger prints use the eSatin paper to save on the cost of the print. The framed prints will have a layer of Premium Clear Acrylic lens over the front to protect the print. This frame will protrude about 1” from the wall. Click here for a preview of the frame. While expensive, this option is nice if you want to have something that is assembled and ready to be mounted on your wall.

Canvas Prints:

All Canvas prints are printed on calibrated material for astrophotography (click Here to see an example) and assembled on a pine wood frame (click Here to see the frame). The product will protrude 2” on the wall. Canvas is a great cost-effective option because when it is shipped to your house, the product is ready to be mounted on your wall. The manufacturer claims these prints will last up to 90 years without any decay or defects occurring. A gift for generations!

Metal Prints:

For a sleek and modern look, nothing stands out more than a metal print. All metal prints are printed on a Satin print surface, and assembled on a Float Mount Hanger that lifts the print 1/2” from the wall. It is personally one of my favorite options because of its sleek, modern look. Please note for Extra Large prints, price will increase significantly because a crate is required to ship the print.

Suppliers: Most paper prints are supplied through Astroframing (S-Effect). All metal prints and a few paper prints are supplied by Bay Photo Lab.

Store Policy & Support:

Shipping:

The print(s) you order will be shipped to your Shipping Address. You will receive an email from Visual Awe <no-reply@squarespace.info> when your complete your order with a receipt for the payment. Then, a second email will arrive notifying you when the product has shipped. This email will include the tracking number for your package.

Warranty, Return, and Refund Policy:

If you receive a print and it does not meet your satisfaction, we will provide a full-refund within 30 days of you receiving the order. To get a refund, please send us an email to visual.awe.photo@gmail.com no later than 30 days from the day you received the print. We will contact you and review your claim on a case by case basis.

There is currently no product warranty. You are responsible to care for the product. Each print should come with specific instructions on how to care for your product. We recommend you never place your product somewhere that receives direct sunlight to extend the life of the print.
